Veranda Paul & Virginie Hotel & Spa

Named after the legendary young couple immortalised by the French author Bernardin de St Pierre in his novel Paul & Virginie, the hotel is an invitation to a relaxing and romantic stay enhanced by idyllic tranquillity and a soothing atmosphere. This is an adult-only hotel with charming thatched buildings, romantic dining experiences and sheer indulgent spa treatments.
The decor of colonial inspiration, a subtle combination of wood, stone and thatch roofs, reveals a peaceful haven for couples seeking an unforgettable getaway to a paradise island. At the heart of the hotel is a wonderful freeform pool, but the infinity pool which has fantastic views towards the northern islets offers a real wow factor.
Situated in the fishing village of Grand Gaube on the north coast of Mauritius. The hotel has direct access to the beach.

Offers a choice of two restaurants, 2 bars and a street food kiosk. Isle de France, the main restaurant, overlooks the lagoon and northern islands and Le Saint Geran is uniquely set on a pier overlooking the lagoon.

Leisure facilities include two pools, a fitness room and the Seven Colours Spa. A variety of water sports and land activities are available for your entertainment. There is live evening entertainment including special themes and Pop Up moments once a week, weather permitting.

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Mauritius airport.

 

Rooms

81 air-conditioned rooms with en suite bath/shower, hairdryer, ceiling fans, safe, mini bar, TV, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have a balcony or terrace.

  • Daily dinner (buffet and/or table d’hote) at the main restaurant. A Rs400 credit per person per night for dinner at the Saint Geran
  • Daily lunch at the Saint Geran or at the main pool/bar (Sandwich/salad menu)
  • Afternoon tea/coffee & pancakes and/or snacks
  • Snacking options at the street food mobile kiosk
  • Tea/Coffee facilities in room (replenished once daily)
  • Soft drinks/juices/mineral water/local beers, cocktails, local spirits & house wines by the glass

  • A picnic box will be available for guests leaving the resort for the day (must be booked 24 hrs before
