The lodge is on a private conservancy of 6,000 acres, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, surrounded by breathtaking views.

Tawi Lodge is set on a community conservancy and made up of 12 beautiful cottages. The décor at Tawi is inspired by African tradition and culture whilst delivering modern flair and guest comforts. The warm, friendly staff at this eco-friendly lodge take the best possible care of the environment and its guests.

Located five minutes from Kimana Gate, the eastern entrance to Amboseli National Park.

The dining and bar area is the focal point at Tawi Lodge. Delicious meals, cooked with the finest ingredients, sourced locally, are served whilst you enjoy the breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and the wetlands where animals play and drink. You can relax by the campfire pre and post dinner with your beverage of choice at the bush bar beneath the magnificent African sky full of brightly shining stars, whilst recounting your day’s experiences. Treat yourself to one of a variety of massages and beauty treatments on offer when your game drives end, or cool down in the refreshing swimming pool. Activities include game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, night game drives, guided walks and bird watching.

Rooms

12 beautiful cottages, where the bed and the bath are placed strategically, for views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Each cottage has a wooden verandah with superb views. The double and twin cottages each have a fireplace and a mini bar and an en suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There is a butler service to provide comfort and privacy. Water systems and lighting are solar powered, and a facility for cameras and phones to be charged is available.
