Overview
It is located on the private 19,000 acre Solio Game Conservancy and is home to diverse and numerous wildlife, including leopard, lion, a wide variety of birds and both the black and white rhino. Guests staying here will enjoy luxurious accommodation with exceptional views of Mount Kenya, breathtaking game drives and delicious meals.
The Solio Reserve is internationally recognised as the most successful private rhino breeding reserve in Kenya, and it is not unusual to see large numbers of these endangered animals on game drives.
Rooms
There are just five luxury cottages, each with a large en suite bathroom with bath and shower, lounge area and open fire for the cooler evenings, and a private deck affording panoramic views of the nearby hills and Mount Kenya in the distance. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
