A luxurious, elegant and stylish camp overlooking a sweeping bend in the Luangwa River.
 
Mchenja, meaning ‘ebony’, is nestled beneath trees along the banks of the Luangwa River.
 
Small plunge pool in the main area which is excellent for some relief in the warmer months. Game viewing is either on foot or from an open game viewing vehicle.
 
Approximately 2 hours from Mfuwe airport.

 

Rooms

5 thatched roof tents with private decking overlooking the Luangwa River. The tents have all been custom designed, each with a roll top bath and stunning views of the river.

Lufupa Tented Camp is situated in the centre of the northern sector of Kafue National Park, at the confluence of the Lufupa and Kafue Rivers.
The tranquil riverine setting is a superb place to explore the waterways and floodplains.

Dining and bar area are under huge jackalberry trees, overlooking the Kafue River.
Approximately 90-minute flight from Lusaka.
