Off the beaten track in a private concession on the shores of the beautiful Lake Kariba, the Changa Safari Camp offers a wonderful blend of land and water.

Here you can combine the splendid beauty of the Matusadona National park whilst on a game drive, and enjoy game viewing on the atmospheric Lake Kariba.

Changa Safari Camp has been designed to blend in with the environment as much as possible and the natural materials, thatched roofs, wooden decks and walkways merge beautifully with the surrounding bush.

Situated within a private concession on the shores of Lake Kariba in the Matusadona National Park.

The main lounge and library is comfortably furnished in an eclectic style, completely open to the gentle breeze and under thatch. The main deck with its sweeping curved stairway leads onto a lower deck, fire pit, swimming pool and wide white sand beach.

Delicious meals are served in a relaxed and laid back atmosphere, set around a large table in the dining room or under a canopy of trees on the vast wooden deck overlooking the lake.

Activities include game drives, game walks, boat cruises, bird watching and fishing.

Rooms

Six double tents and two family tents are tastefully decorated with African influences, from rustic wood, leather and weaver. Styled with complete comfort in mind, each tent has en suite facilities and outside shower and bath. All tents are mosquito proofed and have fans and a private deck.
