Perched on the edge of an escarpment with panoramic views across the Laikipia plains to Mt Kenya, Loisaba Tented Camp is the ultimate blend of sophistication and nature.
Home to a healthy population of lions, elephants, rare wild dogs and many other species, Loisaba is a good example of successful cooperation between conservation, communities, ranching and tourism.
Guests are offered a variety of activities to experience the wildlife and landscape on many different levels. Loisaba boasts a fleet of custom-designed, open-sided Land Rover safari vehicles for both day and night game drives.
Rooms
Luxurious tents are spacious and airy with polished wood floors, high ceilings, stylish modern furnishings and wide verandahs. There are 6 en suite tents – 3 double, 3 convertible twin/double. There are 3 family combinations comprising 2 large tents adjoined by a walkway, with one tent a double, and the other a convertible twin/double. The tent suites are well furnished and equipped. The bathrooms are very well appointed with flush toilets, double-basin and a rainfall shower with solar-heated hot water. There is also a Private Residence with 3 en suite tents, private bar and pool.
