Amakhosi translated from Zulu means ‘The Place of the Kings’ and is ideally located in a blend of savannah, wetlands and mountains. It is home to quality ‘big five’ game viewing with prolific cheetahs, 15 species of antelope and over 400 bird species.
Situated on the banks of Zululand’s Mkuze River in the Amakhosi private game reserve.
Facilities include a swimming pool with poolside loungers, library, curio shop corner, dining room, bar, inside and outside lounge and satellite television. Activities include game drives, bush walks, traditional Zulu kraal, frogging (in season), seasonal micro safaris, overnight walking safaris and massage therapy.
