Facilities
The lodge was carefully built using local materials, always mindful of the environment and sustainability. Solar power supplies its energy when possible. It lies on the path of the great migration and it is possible to see the wildebeest, zebras and Thompson’s gazelles as they make their way towards greener pastures, sometimes with hungry big cats in pursuit or crocodiles lurking at the river crossings.
The superb location combined with delightful accommodation and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere alongside attentive service, make this a winning destination.
There is a large dining room where delicious tasty continental meals, made from the finest local ingredients, are served. Bread, rolls, cakes and pastries are baked fresh every day. There is also an outdoor dining deck with views over the plains, a lounge, a bar, an infinity pool with sundeck and a campfire area. There is free wireless Internet in the inside common areas. Every evening the campfire is lit at sunset; it’s a perfect place to sit and enjoy an after dinner drink under the African skies. Further activities include: sundowners and local dance troupe performance.
